Issues

It is important to have stability in this time of economic uncertainty. We are blessed to live in a great city, and I am committed to a balance of:

Community: Issaquah is a diverse in people, business, and environment. We have all chosen to live or do business in this special town. We should celebrate its uniqueness by making it even greater by supporting our local businesses, and providing opportunities for all our population.

Commerce: Through my leadership, the Council worked hard toward creating high paying jobs in Issaquah. We are privileged to havea new Swedish Medical Center breaking ground even now. This Council has reduced the burden on businesses and citizens by reducing the City's budget by 5%.

Compassion: I am committed to do everything we can to further reduce the financial burden on our neighbors that are in need during these hard times by ensuring funding for work force housing, and the human services campus.

"Issaquah has provided me tremendous opportunities over the last 16 years. I look forward to listening to your issues, concerns, and ways to make Issaquah better. I am committed to making Issaquah the best place to live, work, play, grow and thrive."
